I have some stuff I did in VB6. As an exercise, I want to migrate it to modern VB.
Is there any major reason to not just skip right ahead to Visual Basic 2013?
Or is there a good reason to stick with one of the older Visual Studio Express 2005, 2008,2010, 2012 versions?
Also, does the name "VB.NET" cover all versions of "Visual Studio 20xx" ?
Visual Studio Express 2005, 2008,2010, 2012, 2013 are all just versions under that general .NET umbrella?
When I search for some code help, can I search for "VB.net while loops" and not "Visual Basic 2013 while loops"
