So for a class I'm taking I have to make an application that works with a simple app.
Basically for the VB portion, I need to create a table with the following categories: First name, last name, Colour (dark blue, blue, light blue).
The person registers via the app (each desktop table is supposed to have a distinct 7 digit ID number) So when the user registers via the iPhone application (made with Xcode) they input that distinct 7 digit ID number for the desktop software (as well as a first name, last name). Once this is done, every time the user opens the app they are presented with the three shades of blue. Whatever shade they choose (light blue, blue, or dark blue) is went back to the desktop software where the shade of blue is displayed in the table along with the persons first and last name.
It sounds simple enough, but it is pretty complex for someone with very little VB experience. Not even sure what type of database I'll need to use. This is a term project (approx. 4 months left), but basically I'm stumped as how to start this. Any input would be appreciated.
