VS 2010 Connect Regional office machine with the Head office server DB

Earlier I raised this topic in a thread started by me namely "Connection string using IP address". May be that title-name is not worth for what I try to achieve. Now I approach with a different title hoping to get some help from the forum.

I said there (my previous thread)....

I've developed an application (VS2010 with Sql2008) for our Temple in Chennai. Our Temple have got branches throughout India. Now this appn. is being used in a single user environment. I want to elaborate it further. I would like to maintain a common database in Chennai Machine. I want all our branches to have access to this database for the purpose of insertion/update of records..

In the process of developing the application, I learnt so many things through this forum. That's why I mentioned there like this...

I think the Forum's Pillar Like Guys of the sort JMC, .Paul, techgnome, etc. etc. etc. can come out with an article on this Title if possible,, my humble suggestion/request....

Will i get some information here ? --- Like a reference to an article or a good book containing information on this subject or something else ...
