In Windows Vista and later, you have recording devices available to the system, which the user can access manually. If you right-click the speaker icon, then select recording devices, and then click on the microphone icon in the "sound" window and click properties, it provides you with several tabs, allowing you to change the microphone's properties manually.
What I want to do is to change the Microphone Boost; I'd want one program to set it at +20db, and another to set it at +30db. I've searched and searched through google, to no avail; there seem to be a couple of libraries out there, but very little help around in using them.
I *REALLY* need this code!!
Thanks!
